URBAN.Boston Seed Grantees

URBAN.Boston is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2013-14 Collaborative Research Planning seed grants.  You can learn more about the important work that these grantees will undertake at the next URBAN.Boston Community Networking Event to be held on May 20.  This year’s grantees include:

“Reexamining School-Family-Community Partnerships for Academic Excellence” a partnership with members from the Dever McCormack School and UMASS Boston.

“Focus Groups to Assess the Feasibility & Acceptability of LUMBA: An African American Mother-Daughter Intervention to Increase Sexual Communication” a partnership with members from the Dimock Center and UMASS Boston

“Collaborative Research to Improve Youth-Police Relationships” a partnership with members of YWCA Boston, Peace Circles and UMASS Boston
