Part time, fixed term position in Peace and Justice Studies at MSU

Michigan State University Peace and Justice Studies Program and Department of Anthropology in the College of Social Science invite applications for a part time Assistant Professor position.

The position will be renewable annually pending satisfactory performance review and available funding. Advising responsibilities include: communicating with students in the minor to advise them on courses and requirements (including work on individual capstone projects); managing forms and records for students in the minor; working with other units on campus to disseminate information about the minor. Teaching responsibilities will include teaching one thematic course per semester; this course may include opportunities for students to develop individual and collaborative research projects. Additional teaching assignments may be possible given departmental needs. Position may also include opportunities to work with the Director of Peace and Justice Studies on research and grants related to thematic issues.
