Please join UC Santa Cruz’s Center for Collaborative Research for an Equitable California (CCREC)<\/a>, Everett Program<\/a>, Center for Labor Studies<\/a>, and The Blum Center<\/a> for a four day intensive Community Engaged Research Institute.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will introduce graduate students, early career scholars, and community members to the foundations, ethics, methods, tools and democratic aspects of collaborative research.<\/p>\n

Through seminars, roundtables, and hands-on workshops, participants will develop skills and knowledge to begin engaging in equity-oriented community-based collaborative research.\u00a0 All sessions will be facilitated by experienced collaborative researchers (both university- and community-based).<\/p>\n

The Institute will be highly participatory, rooted in case studies, and work with community partners.<\/p>\n

Costs for the four day institute are tiered to facilitate a diverse group attending. Commuter rates, scholarship info, and full tuition schedule available on our website<\/a>.\u00a0 Costs include tuition, three meals per day, and lodging.<\/p>\n
