2 New Positions- Monash Urban Planning/Urban Lab
The Faculty of Art Design and Architecture (MADA) invites applications for two new positions:
Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, Urban Planning & Design (on-going appointment)

Successful candidates for both positions will work across UPD and the Urban Lab. We are looking for individuals with research interests in one or more of the following areas:
Sustainable and Inclusive Cities
- Housing form and typology integrated with housing policy research
- Suburban intensification that explores strategic infill, suburban retrofit and new suburban typologies
- Community engagement with a commitment to under-represented constituencies
Urban Infrastructure Systems
- Water sensitive urban design and regeneration
- Hybrid natural and built systems
- Re-industrialisation
Visualising Urban Futures
- Visioning future urban scenarios
- Urban data analytics
- Critical inquiry around ‘smart city’ data applications in urban planning and design

Anticipated start date: early 2019.
